Preschool Schedule

PRESCHOOL ROOM (Group A & Group B staggering between transitions)
7:00 am – Arrival, Wellness check / Hand wash
– Child chooses area to play in
8:15-8:30 am – Hand washing/ Sitting at the table (one at a time)
8:30-9.00 am – Morning Snack Time (followed by hand washing/washroom one at a time)
9:00-9:10 am – Group A Cubby Transition / Getting ready for Outdoor play
9:10 – 10:10 am– Group A Outdoor Play
9:10-9:20 am – Group B Cubby Transition/ Getting ready for Outdoor play
9:20-10:20 am– Group B Outdoor Play
10:10-10:15am– Group A Washroom and hand washing
10:15- 10:25 am – Group B Washroom and hand washing
10:25-11:20 am – Circle Time /Programming
11:20-11:30 am – Hand washing/ Sitting on the table/ story time
11:30-12:15 pm – Lunch Time
– (Hand washing one at a time)
12:15 – 12:30 – Getting ready for rest time (reading books, quiet activities)
12:30-2:30 pm – Rest time
– (Quiet activities are offered to those children that do not require rest)
2:30-3:00 pm – Snack Time
– Washroom, hand washing (one at a time)
3:00-3:10 pm – Group A Cubby Transition / Getting ready for Outdoor play
3:10 – 4:10 pm– Group A Outdoor Play
3:10-3:20 pm – Group B Cubby Transition/ Getting ready for Outdoor play
3:20-4:20 pm– Group B Outdoor Play
4:10- 4:15pm– Group A Washroom and hand washing
4:15- 4:25 pm – Group B Washroom and hand washing
4.25 – 5.15 p.m. Activities set up for children to play – Open ended activities
5:15 – 5:30pm – Washroom. Hand washing
5:30 – 6:00 pm – Quiet Activities(puzzles , books etc.) followed by hand washing
6:00 pm – Dismissal
